This is a tabletop machine for making food that helps people euthanize in their own homes. In this world, euthanasia has become an increasingly popular choice for those seeking to escape the harsh realities of life and get into the digital paradise. This tabletop machine enables people to make their own lethal food at home. Using common household nutrient solutions, the machine creates food that is customized to the user's preferences. To operate the machine, one inputs the nutrient solution and selects the desired food through holographic projection. The machine then prepares the food, making it a quick and easy process.
However, it is important to note that this machine has age limitations and is not available to everyone due to the costs involved. In a world where resources are scarce, this machine is a luxury item that only the privileged can afford. For those who can't afford it, they must continue to endure the difficulties of their harsh reality.
The story will take place in the upper right section:
Population aging is an irreversible trend worldwide, and with the gradual development of technology, the concept of a digital paradise has become a reality. In this future society, humans can upload their consciousness to a virtual world at a certain age for a fee, with customizable age and social chronology. Upon death, they can choose to permanently enter this digital paradise, becoming ageless and immortal digital beings.
However, the world has become sparsely populated, with only the elderly remaining. Resources and population are concentrated in large cities, and smaller cities have disappeared. Due to environmental destruction, the natural environment is no longer suitable for growing food. People have developed technology to extract nutrients from plants for human consumption, and every family has a self-sufficient food laboratory.
Meanwhile, the digital paradise remains pristine, preserving the Earth's natural beauty at its best. Even food retains its tantalizing look and taste in the virtual world. The allure of the digital paradise tempts all living humans, and the euthanasia industry grows rapidly, becoming increasingly commercialized. With strict age limits for euthanasia, many people purchase euthanasia products eagerly to enter the digital paradise.
Digital paradises also have rank distinctions, with the rich accessing the freest and best virtual worlds. The middle class can access better virtual worlds, while the cheapest virtual worlds reflect the crimes and atrocities of real life. Nonetheless, all digital paradises are superior to the harsh reality of the physical world. However, even the cheapest virtual worlds require payment, so the lowest strata of society can only return to the land after experiencing the harsh realities of life.
